How do I create my Pixar avatar?
It’s easy! During onboarding, the Scout will ask you for a selfie. Our AI technology instantly transforms your photo into a colorful, animated 3D character. This character becomes your live marker on the map to your friends.
Can everyone see my exact location?
Your avatar moves on the map as you do. Friends can see you at specific Waypoints (like clubs or parks). If you want to go undercover, you can activate “Ghost Mode” at any time to become invisible on the map for as long as you need.
Is Nearzu free to use?
Yes! Nearzu is free to download and use. You can explore the map, find your friends, and join squads without any costs. Some premium features, like exclusive legendary stickers, may be available for purchase or unlocked through activity.
Is Nearzu battery-hungry?
We know you need your phone to last until the after-party! Nearzu is optimized with “Smart-Pings” that only update your location when you’re actually moving, so you can keep scouting all night without your battery hitting zero before the sun comes up.
How do I delete my account?
We’ll be sad to see you go! But if you need a break, you can delete your account directly in the app settings under “Privacy & Security.” This will permanently remove your Pixar avatar and all your scout data.
How do I report a problem or a user?
Safety is our priority. You can report any bugs or inappropriate behavior by clicking the “Help” button in the menu or by long-pressing on a user’s avatar and selecting “Report.” Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
Does Nearzu work in every city?
Absolutely! Nearzu is a worldwide platform. Whether you are scouting the streets of Ljubljana, partying in London, or exploring Tokyo, the map is live and ready. You can create Waypoints, start Squads, and connect with other Scouts anywhere on the globe. Our mission is to map the world’s vibe, one city at a time—so no matter where you land, you’ll always know where the party is.
